Looking to tomorrow, and praying

I have often been accused of having an "Evangelical" nature, and an ideology of "Theological Liberalism"...I like to believe that my God is benevolent, and compassionate, and yet I must accept pain and suffering all around me...As a matter of faith I must not try to understand, only accept that it is all part of Gods grand plan...
I have lost several long time friends, some because of drug related deaths and others to accidents beyond their control, the ones that were taken away by accidents, had no choice, the others chose not to make a choice, all are sadly missed...If you are on the road to nowhere, turn back before it becomes the path to destruction...
Sometimes we are forced to watch people we love meltdown right before our eyes, and though we try to help, there is nothing we can do...true change comes from within...and we can only suggest a better path and lead the way, we cannot make anyone follow...I am your Rock, but in time even I will wither away...
As we enter into this second day of our new year let us all look over our shoulders back upon that collection of days that was 2010, and say that we have no worries and no regrets. The past is now history, and unchangeable, so we can now turn and look forward to a future that is unwritten. Walk by faith, not by sight and strive for yet another year of no worries and no regrets..
